ADAM DIMICHELE…This Week’s Army “Find Your Strength” Player Of The Week
November 23rd, 2008 by Daniel Freer
The United States Army has been a pioneer in many non-combat fields, most notably, medicine. From Army Doctor William Beaumont’s studies into the digestive process, to breakthrough research in the treatment of HIV-AIDS, the U.S. Army has been a leader in the field of medical research. Also, much of that research has been able to return soldiers…whether back on-duty or into civilian life.,.with fewer disabilities and less suffering.
This week’s Army “Find Your Strength” Player of the Week, Temple QB Adam DiMichele, suffered a devastating leg injury during the 2007 season, breaking his leg in several places. The Owls QB has returned in fine form this season, and had his best career day in a 55-52 win over Eastern Michigan…throwing for 370 yards and 6 TDs.
