CASE KEENUM…Our Army “Find Your Strength” Player Of The Week
By Daniel Freer | November 17, 2008
The United States Army’s Fort Hood, located in Texas, is the largest U.S. Army installation worldwide…with, at times, over 35,000 soldiers stationed there.
About 250 miles southeast of Fort Hood is where we find this week’s Army “Find Your Strength” Player of the Week, University of Houston QB Case Keenum. Keenum led his Cougars to a 70-30 win over then-25th ranked Tulsa, throwing for 402 yards and 6 TDs…and adding another TD rushing.
Keenum’s huge performance helped Houston take the lead in the Conference USA West Division race, and, put them in the drivers seat for a berth in the CUSA Championship Game
