Kellen Moore’s last minute drive on Monday night not only toppled the Virginia Tech Hokies, it turned the race for the 2010 Heisman Trophy upside down as well.

The HeismanPundit.com Heisman Poll is made up of 13 Heisman voters from across the country. They vote for three players each week. Tabulations are made on a 3-2-1 basis, with three points awarded for a first-place vote, two points for a second-place vote and one point for a third-place vote. The last two years the Heismanpundit poll was the most accurate in the country, picking five of the top six finishers in the Heisman vote in 2008 and the top four in 2009.

While watching the BSU vs. Va Tech game, I thought “this guy isn’t that good — what’s with all the hype?”
He always seemed to be throwing off his back foot and floating his passes … I saw lots of passes fall short or barely get there.
I guess you can’t argue with the results — he seems to keep on leading his Broncos to victory. But I have an uneducated hunch that he’s going to end up like Leinart — finesse lefty who’s great in college but may not cut it in the NFL.
May he prove me wrong.
Virginia Tech pressured him to his back foot and he still produced. To your point Frye, a shade under six feet and finesse arm usually do not an NFL star make, but many of the same criticisms were levied upon Drew Brees too.
We at FCB choose to celebrate the college exploits in and of themselves, and let the NFL do what they choose to do with the talents. See:
