- Ball State RB Eric Williams added 105 yards rushing on 20 carries and one score in a 27-10 win over SE Missouri State.
- Bowling Green WR Kamar Jorden set a career-high 9 receptions for 111 yards in a 30-27 loss at Troy.
- Buffalo QB Jerry Davis threw for 302 yards and 4 scores and WR Marcus Rivers added a career-high 10 receptions for 155 yards and one score in a 31-0 win over Rhode Island.
- Central Michigan QB Ryan Radcliff was 20-of-34 passing for 242 yards and one TD in a 33-0 win over Hampton.
- Temple WR Michael Campbell had a career-high 127 yards on 8 receptions, including a 62-yard score, in a 31-24 win over Villanova.
- Western Michigan QB Alex Carder was 27-of-49 passing for 220 yards and 2 TDs in a 38-14 loss at Michigan State
DEFENSE
- Eastern Michigan LB Tim Fort led the Eagles with 15 tackles in a 31-27 loss to Army.
- Akron LB Brian Wagner added 12 tackles, one forced fumble and an interception in a 29-3 loss to Syracuse.
- Ohio LB Noah Keller led the Bobcats with nine tackles in a 33-10 win over Wofford.
- Northern Illinois SS Tracy Wilson had a team-leading 10 tackles and an interception in a 27-10 loss at Iowa State.
- Ball State S Sean Baker led the club with a career-high 12 tackles, one sack and a forced fumble in a 27-10 win over SE Missouri State.
- Western Michigan DE Deauntay Legrier tied for the team lead with eight tackles and one sack in a 38-14 loss at Michigan St.
- Kent State S Brian Lainhart added nine tackles and one forced fumble in a 41-10 win over Murray State.
- Temple S Jaiquawn Jarrett led the team with seven tackles and one tackle for loss in a 31-24 win over Villanova.
- Toledo SS Desmond Marrow led the team with nine tackles and one tackle for loss in a 41-2 loss to Arizona.
SPECIAL TEAMS
- Miami K Trevor Cook added four field goals in a 34-12 loss at Florida.
- Ohio’s Julian Posey totaled 70 yards on three returns, and added a 38-yard fumble recovered for a TD in a 33-10 win over Wofford.
- Central Michigan’s Cody Wilson had an 81 yard kickoff return and added 21 punt return yards in a 33-0 win over Hampton.
- Bowling Green KR Eugene Cooper had a 63-yard punt return for a TD in a 30-27 loss at Troy.
- Kent State KR Anthony Bowman added a 92-yard kickoff return for a TD in a 41-10 win over Murray State.
MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE…BY THE NUMBERS….
- 0 – Buffalo recorded their first shut out since 2001 with their 31-0 victory over Rhode Island last week.
- 3 – consecutive first team All-MAC selections for Buffalo DB Davonte Shannon, the only Buffalo player to accomplish this feat.
- 3 – punt returns for TDs by Ohio’s LaVon Brazill, the most in FBS in 2009.
- 5 – MAC teams with Bowl appearances in 2009 tied a league mark.
- 5 – consecutive winning seasons by Central Michigan, the longest current streak
- in the MAC.
- 6 – wins by MAC teams over Big Ten opponents in the last two seasons.
- (65) – Defensively, Flashes defense held the Racers to only 193 yards of offense, including a minus-65 yards rushing
