PODCAST: Ron Jumper of Sports Overload talks SEC and Expert League

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

When Little Rock, Arkansas talks fantasy football (pro or college), they think Ron Jumper of Sports Overload and his Tuesday show on 103.7 The Buzz ESPN Radio.

BlitzRadio caught up with Ron to discuss the early SEC happenings (with some great insight to the Razorback RB situation) and his impressions on his team in the Fantasy College Football Invitational.

PODCAST: Jeff Erickson of Rotowire talks FCFI Expert League

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

For the uninitiated, FCFI stands for the Fantasy College Football Invitational and Jeff Erickson won the whole thing in 2007.

For the newest edition of BlitzRadio podcast, Jeff and I discuss his 2009 draft, the triplets at Oklahoma State, trends to expect and everyone’s favorite topic, Sleepers.

In between we cover his college tour when he saw Barry Sanders play live, my wife’s famous top shelf scouting ability of Bobby Reid (17:15 mark) and his daily talk show The Rotowire Fantasy Sport Hour on Blog Talk Radio.

PODCAST: Heisman Pundit’s Chris Huston 2009 Preview

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

Most college football fans and even writers are looking no farther than Colt McCoy, Sam Bradford and Tim Tebow for the 2009 Heisman Trophy. No heated Fox News type arguments on this episode of BlitzRadio as both agree that Colt McCoy is the favorite.

The creator of the 15, er, 10 Heismandments Chris Huston discusses the expected anointing of Texas Colt McCoy as this season’s trophy holder, Sam Bradford leading the best offense of the decade last season and we also kinda talk about that Tebow guy. Despite for our clearly professed man-love and super-high expectations for Houston’s Case Keenum, it is hard to make a case for him as a legit contender.

Play his HP Fantasy Challenge for a chance to win two tix to the BCS Title game! (shameless plug for his appearance tonight)
