Week 8 is in the books and the Big Ten still has one undefeated team, three teams ranked in the top eleven in the BCS rankings and two head coaches knocking on the century win club door. Indiana’s Bill Lynch (99 wins) and Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz (98) should both reach the century mark in the next few weeks.

Have you noticed the passing accuracy in the Big Ten this season? According to the Big Ten web site, four quarterbacks could appear among the top 10 most accurate passing seasons in conference history. So the Big Ten Network needs to just start updating their film vault now because 2010 is the best season ever in the Big Ten. With five weeks to go they should be able to get plenty of footage to add to the archives. Anyway, top performers in week 8 include the following:
It is already the eighth week of the 2010 college football season, and many of you are prepping for the run to your league’s fantasy playoffs…or finishing the final weeks of a lame season.
Still, everyone prefers to win…so you need a good QB. Or, a seviceable one, if your top fantasy QB is off this week….and many top QBs are off on Week Eight.

In this week’s edition of From The Shotgun, it is time to honor one of the great fantasy QBs of our generation: Houston QB Case Keenum.
The senior QB had his college career cut short (barring a medical waiver should the NCAA grant one) in Houston’s 31-13 loss at UCLA this past weekend.
