BCS Poll released, websites are not ready
October 19th, 2008 by Vince Mullins
want to have faith in the computer aspect of the Bowl Championship Series college football polls, but if it is be truly taken seriously why can’t the marketing and IT guys with the BCS get their pages updated four hours after release of the first poll of 2008? Hardly the way to engender confidence in this era of right-now-news…
Crime #1 – on www.BCSfootball.org (the official site), once you scroll down to find the actual Top 25 they have yet to update the year plus have yet to upload their logo/creative for the National Championship Game (upper left).
Crime #2 – when one clicks on “Complete Rankings” link at the bottom right (or on the “BCS Rankings” sublink on the main navbar), it takes you to corporate partner FOXSports.com, and their BCS Page is BLANK (timestamp at upper right)…Pictures after the jump..
