The vaunted and heralded insurmountable Trojan force has been giving tons of points and yards over the last month, leading them to an all-time low on our BLITZindex college football defense rankings this week at 22. Otherwise, high level of correlation here to most Top 25 ballots.

The BLITZindex is an equal weighted measure of national ranks in three team defense categories – yards per play allowed (YPP), Yard per point allowed (YPPt), and points per game allowed (PPG). Yards per game allowed included in the study but not the rankings.

Median average stats (Full Stats to the big document after the jump) allowed are:

• 5.3 yds/play (Arkansas St.),
• 15.14 yds/pt (Okla. St., Virginia),
• 24 pts/gm (Miami-FL, Kentucky) and
• 357.75 yds/gm (ECU)
