FCB FANTASY PLAYER OF THE WEEK….Riley Dodge, QB, North Texas
November 1st, 2009 by Daniel Freer
Our recipient of this week’s honor is someone who I believe will be one of the biggest fantasy producers over the next few years. Although this week’s honoree has not had the record-setting career, yet, he did finally blow-up.
Oh, did he blow up.
North Texas redshirt-freshman QB Riley Dodge (photo, thanks Scout.com), our Fantasy College Blitz Fantasy Player of the Week, single-handedly destroyed Western Kentucky 68-49 in Saturday’s game at Fouts Field in Denton, TX.
Dodge, a blue-chip prep QB from Southlake, TX, threw for 262 yards and 4 TDs…while rushing for 70 yards and another 3 TDs….in leading the Mean Green to only their second victory of the season (just 1-11 in 2008)
