Head2Head College Salary Cap Game starts this week
September 2nd, 2008 by Vince Mullins
If you missed your opportunity to get in on traditional fantasy games, I highly suggest you sign up for the new way to play fantasy college football at Head2Head Sports.
Using a salary cap of $100 Million, pick your team of 10 college football players from the following conferences (Big-10, Pac-10, Big East, SEC, ACC, and Big-12 and Notre Dame) that you think will rack up the most points each week using our Head2Head (or “H2H”) scoring system. All players have been assigned a salary based on past performance and expected performance this season.
Fantasy College Blitz users get a great discount – just enter “blitz” and play for just $4.95 – almost 40% off!
I will break down my views on the game after the jump.
Go Head2Head!
Very QB-friendly Scoring System of 6 points for all TDs, and defenses are scored aggressively also so if you are comfy value shopping fro RB and WR you should probably load up on Harrell/Tebow at QB and Ohio State/USC/Penn State on D. And throw a QB in the flex also as you must choose 1 Quarterback, 3 Running Backs, 3 Wide Receivers/Tight Ends, 1 Kicker, 1 Defense/Special Team and 1 Flex Position (any position except a D/ST).
A big rule to know as well: Stats for games played on weekdays DO NOT count. Saturday only. Finally, make your lineup decisions count – changing your lineup and staying alive for the playoffs does cost you some transaction fees. See the site for prizes available. Head2Head produced a nice Playbook for you to print out for reference, but I think I covered the big ones.
And below is the Salary Cap List, sortable for your review. Stay tuned for tips.
