Projecting the Fantasy Player of the Year

Saturday, December 12th, 2009

Heisman TrophyThe official Heisman trophy will be handed out in a few weeks and I will be posting who I feel is the most deserving of the award based on the criteria used for determining the Heisman.  One of the criteria is obviously finishing in the Top 15 in the BCS while being in the Top 10 being almost a requirement.  However, for us fantasy players, we don’t care about the player playing on a Top 10 BCS team. FCB FANTASY PLAYER OF THE WEEK….Colin Kaepernick, QB, Nevada

Sunday, October 25th, 2009

ColinKaepernickEarlier this season, a few were wondering when our Week Eight Fantasy Player of the Week would finally start producing.

Well, he produced yesterday.  Big Time.

Note that Idaho, coming into the game at Nevada, was 6-1….and enjoying one of its better seasons in many years.

However, 2009 is definitely shaping up to be Keenum’s year…arguably the #1 Fantasy Player in the nation.   He has most of his skill position weapons back, a schedule favorable for the Cougar offense, and, Clement has used up his eligibility…. Read the rest of this entry →
