Pac 10 “Other” Rankings for Fantasy College Football

My work here is almost done and the only thing left is to wrap up the rest of the Pac 10.  After covering the main position players, we find ourselves hard pressed to find much at TE, D/ST and Kicker from this conference.   Well…I should say hard pressed except for possibly the best TE in all of fantasy college football.

Catching Up with the Pac 10 Wide Receivers

As rich as the RB position is for the Pac 10, the WRs are its exact opposite.  It’s telling when the top 2 QBs in this conference are known for the damage they can do with their legs.  The best passing offense is USC, who spreads the ball so well.  There are a couple of potential draftees and a few upside guys here but outside that, look elsewhere for your receivers…

Running Through the Pac 10 Runningbacks

This is the sweet spot of the Pac 10 (logo courtesy Pac-10.org), with many bona fide fantasy choices to be found at this position.  With the preference of many fantasy owners to draft RBs that don’t share carries, there are more than enough here to sort out.  However, there are also some dynamic athletes who do share carries still worth consideration for your bench…

A Passing Look at Pac 10 QBs

alyssa-milano23Here at Fantasy College Blitz, we leave no journalistic stone unturned.  Since pouring over data to develop my preliminary research on the Pac 10, I thought I’d use technology and the Twitter Community to add a little zest to this article.  I sent a Tweet out to Alyssa Milano (pictured left–do I need a reason? thanks, Rock105i.com) to get her perspective on the upcoming college football season.  Why not go all Hollywood, since USC has developed minor celebs like Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush?  Evidently, she was out of the country shooting a film as I never heard back.  I’ll try to catch up with her later and do lunch.  I also sent Tweets out to several Pac 10 coaches.  They must still be learning how to use Twitter because I never heard back from them either.
